Part one: Learn to pray with power and authority
It shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Joel 2:28
You must notice that prophecy says on ALL FLESH, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy. This means everyone not just anyone shall prophesy, yet in the churches this widely pronounced gift is never used. Most Christians that I talk to never prophecy, why?
It is amazing when I hear I do not know my calling or the will of God, from even strong Christians! My first question is how much time are you spending in the presence of God? How much time our you seriously thanking him and praising him and having followship with him? Is it maybe your schedule does not permit adequate time with him? The gym is more important, or your job demands such long hours you can’t find time with him. Could it be that you just do not know how to pray or reach out to him? Whatever the reason know this…God is searching for those who would seek him and spend time with him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth. John 4:24
But without faith is impossible to believe him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
Ephesians 2:4-6 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace you are saved;) and hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
How to Enter into the Presence of God
If we want to have communion with God, we must pray and pray deeply and strongly with thanksgiving in our heart and praise in our lips!
100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name.
How to hear his voice
If you want to hear his voice and allow him to speak with you, just lay in his presence, be still and listen!
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings of eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.
How to Know God’s Power in Your Life
You see when you are born again you are a new creature in Christ.
2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, The old things are passed away, behold, all things have become new.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Mark 16:15-18 Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; and they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
When you start praying in the throne room of God and start tearing down the strongholds of devils, then God protects you from the attacks of the devil and his demons. Almost every night while sleeping in bed, demons would attack me, and choke me, my body would become paralyzed, and I could hardly cry out the name of Jesus and quote the word of God.
1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, then that is in the world.
When you reach heaven with your prayers and you know the authority you have as a child of God, the enemy wants to stop you and will work against you! He will pull every trick in the book to get you to sin, to take away your anointing, to separate you from God. But be assured you have powerful angels working for you to carry out God’s word and to protect you!
Romans 8:35,38-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, of sword? For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angel, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When you start praying in the spirit and entering the supernatural, you are protected by God, do not let the enemy discourage you or bring fear into your life. Fear is the enemy of faith and trust in God. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
In closing I will say this, we are all called of God, all who have been saved have been called of God and is chosen to do his work. In Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Jesus is coming back, we are the generation that will see him split the sky, he needs everyone of us now to enter into serious prayer and have communion with him. You are the sons and daughters of God, chosen of God and seated with Christ at the right hand of the father. You have power over sin, temptation, and all the enemies of God.
Ephesians 2:6 And raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
John 14:12-14 Verily Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and grater works that these shall he do; because I go unto to my Father
Luke 11:9-10 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone theat asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
